Privacy policy

Welcome to DynamoBot. We value your privacy and have built this site to be transparent about how it works.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses cookies. We try to keep this list short and we ask for your consent before any optional ones are set. The first time you visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics — if you accept, we set the analytics cookies described below; if you reject, we do not. You can change your mind at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.

Essential cookies (no consent required, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in operating the site):

  • dynamobot_consent — stores your consent choice itself. Without it we would have to ask you on every page. First-party, 13-month lifetime, no personal data.
  • NEXT_LOCALE — remembers your language preference (English / German). First-party, session.

Optional cookies (only set after you click “Accept” on the banner, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — your consent):

  • Google Analytics 4 — operated by Google Ireland Limited. Sets the _ga and _ga_<container> cookies (2-year lifetime) to give us aggregated pageview counts, traffic sources, and broad device/region statistics. We use it to understand which pages and posts are useful and which aren't. We have NOT enabled Google Signals, advertising features, or any cross-site personalisation. Google may transfer this data to the United States — that transfer is covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (Google's certification). You can opt out at any time via the “Cookie settings” link below.

We do not use cookies for advertising, retargeting, or any third-party personalisation. We do not sell or share visitor data. If we ever add another optional category (for example, embedded video providers), we will update this list and the banner before doing so.

Controller for this processing: DynamoBot GmbH (see the Imprint for full company details). For data protection requests — access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, or withdrawal of consent — contact contact@dynamobot.de from the address you wish the request to apply to; we respond within 30 days. Google Analytics data retention is configured to the GA4 default of 2 months for event-level data; aggregated reporting in the GA UI follows Google's standard policies.

Proof of consent: when you submit a choice on the banner we record the decision (accepted / rejected), the version of this policy you saw, and HMAC-pseudonymised hashes of your IP and browser user-agent — derived from a key that rotates daily so the hashes can't be linked across days. This is to demonstrate compliance with Art. 7(1) GDPR if a supervisory authority asks; it isn't used for analytics or any other purpose.

If you write to us

If you send us an email at contact@dynamobot.de, we process your name, email address, and the content of your message under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in responding. We keep the message for as long as we need it to handle your enquiry and for any subsequent business relationship; afterwards it is deleted according to our internal retention schedule.

If you fill in the contact form

When you submit the contact form on this site we store the following in our database: the name and email address you supplied, the message text, your IP address, and your browser user-agent string. Storage happens under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in (a) replying to your enquiry, (b) detecting and blocking abuse of the form, and (c) keeping a basic audit trail of who reached out and when.

We retain submissions for as long as we need them to handle your enquiry and any subsequent business relationship. We will delete or anonymise the row earlier on request — email contact@dynamobot.de from the address you used to submit the form, and we will action it within 30 days.

We do not pass your submission to any third party. We do not use it to send marketing emails. The form has no analytics or tracking attached to it.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict the processing of, port, and object to the processing of your personal data. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent authority for DynamoBot GmbH is:

Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen, Kavalleriestraße 2–4, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany.

Media uploads

If media uploads are enabled in the future, we recommend avoiding images with embedded location data (e.g. EXIF GPS) to protect your privacy. This is a precaution — we do not store or process uploaded media.

Embedded content from other websites

This site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, or articles) from other websites. Embedded content behaves as though you visited the third-party site directly: those sites may collect data, set cookies, or track your interaction with their content. We encourage you to review their privacy policies, as they operate independently of DynamoBot.

Data ownership and rights

All content on this website — text, images, and other materials — is the exclusive property of DynamoBot GmbH. Unauthorised reproduction, distribution, or transmission of any content is prohibited and may be subject to legal action. All rights are reserved.
