Privacy policy

This site uses cookies. We try to keep this list short and we ask for your consent before any optional ones are set. The first time you visit, a banner asks whether you consent to Google Analytics — if you accept, we load it and it sets the analytics cookies described below; if you reject, or as long as you have not answered, we do not: no request of any kind goes to Google, and nothing you do is recorded for Google Analytics. You can change your mind at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. Separately, the site keeps statistics that use no cookies and do not depend on your answer; they are described under “Statistics without cookies” below.

Essential cookies and browser storage (set without asking for your consent; § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in operating the site):

• dynamobot_consent — stores your answer to the consent banner, with the version of the question and the time. Without it we would have to ask you on every page. First-party; kept for up to 13 months — browsers that limit cookies written by a script, such as Safari, forget it once 7 days have passed without a visit (in some cases after one day, for example if your visit began with an advertising or social-media link that carries tracking parameters), and then the banner asks again. No personal data.
• NEXT_LOCALE — remembers your language. It is set only when the language of the page differs from your browser's preferred language, or when you switch language yourself. First-party, session.
• dbWesee.roi.v1 (session storage, not a cookie) — only on the WeSee page, and only once you use the calculator: the step you are on, the figures you typed (annual spend, boom width, nozzle spacing) and the calculated results, so that reloading the page does not lose them. Never your email address or phone number. Gone when you close the tab.
• dynamobot_announcement_dismissed (local storage, not a cookie) — written only when you close an announcement bar, so that it stays closed.
• dynamobot_banner_seen_… and dynamobot_banner_reminder_… (local storage, not cookies) — written only while a campaign pop-up is running: that you have seen it, or that you closed its reminder.
• dynamobot_no_statistics (local storage, not a cookie) — written only if you object to the statistics without cookies with the button under “Your right to object” below. It records nothing but that objection, so that this browser stays left out, and it stays until you press the button again or delete the site's data — or until the browser deletes it: Safari and other browsers that limit what a script may store do so after 7 days of browser use during which you did not click, tap or type anything on this site.

Statistics without cookies (no consent is asked; Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in knowing how many people visit which pages and where they come from, which buttons and forms lead to enquiries, where the calculators lose visitors or fail to record a request, and whether the pages load quickly). They run whatever you answer on the banner — unless you have objected to them (see “Your right to object” below). No cookie and no identifier is stored on your device for them. To send them, scripts on the page read ordinary browser information: the address of the page, the address you came from, the type of connection, loading times and whether your device is a mobile or a desktop one. There are three:

• Vercel Web Analytics — a service of Vercel Inc., the company that hosts this site. For each page view your browser sends: the address of the page (the site first strips everything after a “#”, and everything after a “?” except campaign tags, “utm_…”); the route (the page template the address belongs to); and the full address of the page you came from, as your browser supplies it. From the request Vercel derives your country, region and city, your device type, operating system and browser. According to Vercel's documentation it uses no cookies, counts visitors with a hash of the request that is discarded after 24 hours, and does not store IP addresses. Vercel's script also looks up one entry in your browser's local storage (“__va_attribution”), which this site never sets. Web Analytics also receives the events listed below.
• Vercel Speed Insights — also a service of Vercel Inc. It receives page-load performance measurements (Core Web Vitals) with the address of the page (stripped in the same way), the route, the connection type your browser reports, the page element that was measured, your device type and your country. No cookies.
• Our own page statistics — stored in our own database and shown in our admin area. For each page view: the path of the page without its language prefix; the language; “mobile” or “desktop” where your browser reports it (otherwise nothing); the country, taken from our hosting platform's location header — your IP address is not stored; the time; and, on the first page of a visit only, the host name of the website you came from (not the full address). In addition, performance samples with the path, the language, the type of navigation (for example a new page load or a reload), the device class and the country. No identifier, no cookie, no IP address.

Events sent to Vercel Web Analytics. They are a fixed set. Each one carries at most two details. Every detail is a short code: a value from a fixed list or, for where a button or link is and what kind of button it is, an internal name this site itself assigns. It is never free text and never anything you typed. The same page address and referring address as above are sent with it:

• enquiries: that an enquiry was stored, through which form, and of which kind (demo, use case, partnership, event, a product name or general);
• WeSee calculator: which step was shown; that the point where the calculator asks for your email address was reached, with the range your annual spend falls into; that a step could not be completed, with a reason code; that you submitted your details, with the range your payback period falls into; how you chose to ask for a quotation (form, email or call); that a quotation request was submitted, with the type of nozzle control you selected; and that your details or a quotation request could not be recorded, with a reason code. A range is never the figure itself;
• buttons and links: a click on a product button (which product, and where on the site the button is); a click on another main button (where it is and of what kind); a click on a telephone or email link (only where on the site the link is — never the number or the address); a click on a link to one of our social-media profiles (which network, and where on the site);
• videos: that a video was played to the end, and which video.

None of these statistics contains your name, your email address, your phone number, the text of a message or the figures you type into a calculator.

Vercel Inc. is a company in the United States and may process this data there — that transfer is covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (Vercel's certification).

Your right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): you may object to these statistics at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation. There are two ways, and either one is enough. The button below this paragraph: it stores your objection in this browser (local storage, “dynamobot_no_statistics”), and from then on the site sends none of these statistics from this browser, until you press the button again or the stored objection is deleted — by you, when you delete the site's data from the browser, or by the browser itself: Safari and other browsers that limit what a script may store delete it after 7 days of browser use during which you did not click, tap or type anything on this site; you would then have to object again. It applies to this browser only — in another browser or on another device you would have to object again. Or a signal from your browser, “Global Privacy Control” or “Do Not Track”: if your browser has a setting for one of them, switch it on (some browsers send Global Privacy Control without being asked); the site treats either signal as your objection and sends none of these statistics. We cannot carry out an objection that reaches us by email: nothing in these statistics tells us which visits or entries are yours, so we can neither leave a single visitor out on request nor find, hand over or delete that visitor's entries afterwards. Optional cookies and Google Analytics (only after you click “Accept” on the banner, or switch on “Google Analytics” under “Customize” and save; § 25(1) TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — your consent, which that one click gives for both the cookies and the recording described here):

• Google Analytics 4 — operated by Google Ireland Limited. When you accept, the site loads Google Tag Manager from www.googletagmanager.com and, through it, Google Analytics 4. Google's script sets the _ga and _ga_QYQLZ3WW26 cookies (first-party; kept for up to 2 years, or 7 days in browsers that limit cookies written by a script, such as Safari), which let Google Analytics recognise your browser across visits. We use it to understand how visitors find and use this site: which pages, posts and sections are useful and which aren't, and how far visitors get in our forms and calculators. We have NOT enabled Google Signals, advertising features, or any cross-site personalisation, and the site always signals to Google that advertising cookies, the use of your data for advertising and ad personalisation are denied (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization). Google may transfer this data to the United States — that transfer is covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (Google's certification).

Measurement starts at the moment you accept, as if you had just opened the page you are on. That page is counted then — with its address, its title and the page or website you came to it from — and after that what is on your screen and what you do. Apart from that, nothing about what you looked at, clicked or scrolled before accepting is sent — on that page or on earlier pages — and nothing is kept to be sent later. From that moment Google Analytics receives:

• each page you open: its address (Google Analytics records the full address, including anything after a “?”), its title, and the previous page or the website you came from;
• which sections of a page were on your screen for at least a second, and how far down the page you scrolled (25, 50, 75 or 100 %);
• your clicks on buttons, menu items, cards and links — for a link to another website, that site's address without anything after a “?”; for a file download, the path of the file; for an email or telephone link, only the fact that you clicked it, never the address or the number; for a link to a social-media profile, only the network;
• which FAQ questions you opened, which options you chose in the interactive explainers, that you opened the mobile menu, and that you saw a campaign banner;
• the videos you started, how far you played them (25, 50, 75 %) and whether you played them to the end;
• that you read a blog post to its end (the end was reached and you had spent at least 30 seconds on the page);
• the language version you are using and an internal name for the page;
• what Google Analytics collects by itself: device type, browser, operating system, screen size, your approximate region derived from your IP address (Google states that Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses), the time you spend on a page, and markers for a first visit and for a session;
• the form and calculator events described under “If you fill in the contact form” and “If you use the ROI / WeWeed calculators” — never your name, your email address, your phone number, the text of a message or the figures you type into a calculator.

Withdrawing your consent: “Cookie settings” in the footer reopens the banner at any time; choose “Reject”, or switch off “Google Analytics” under “Customize” and save. From that moment the site hands nothing more to Google, stops Google's script from sending anything further — including events that the script had collected in the seconds before but not yet sent — deletes the _ga cookies, and reloads the page, so that Google's script is no longer on it. Other open tabs of this site are told at once (in browsers that cannot do that, as soon as you look at the tab or click in it): they, too, hand nothing more to Google, stop the script from sending and delete the cookies, but they are not reloaded; there Google's script stays in memory, silenced, until you reload or close the tab — also while you move to other pages of this site in that tab, because the site changes pages without reloading. If your browser refuses cookies altogether, each tab keeps its own answer only until it is reloaded or closed, and a withdrawal may not reach your other tabs: withdraw in each of them, or close them. On every page that is loaded afresh afterwards the script is not loaded at all. The _ga cookies are also deleted as soon as you open a page without a valid acceptance — for example after your answer has expired, or when we ask everyone again because what the banner asks has changed. Withdrawing does not affect the lawfulness of what was processed before. Your answer is remembered for up to 13 months (in browsers that limit cookies written by a script, such as Safari, until 7 days have passed without a visit, in some cases one day); then the banner asks again.

We do not use cookies to show you advertising, for retargeting, or for any third-party personalisation. We do not sell visitor data. If we ever add another optional category (for example, embedded video providers), we will update this list and the banner before doing so.

Controller for this processing: DynamoBot GmbH (see the Imprint for full company details). For data protection requests — access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or objection — contact contact@dynamobot.de from the address you wish the request to apply to; we respond within 30 days. Two things are not done by email but as described above: you object to the statistics without cookies with the button above or through your browser, and you withdraw your consent to Google Analytics under “Cookie settings”. Google Analytics data retention is configured to the GA4 default of 2 months for event-level data; aggregated reporting in the GA UI follows Google's standard policies.

Proof of consent: when you submit a choice on the banner we record the decision (accepted / rejected), the version of the consent request you answered, the time, the language of the site if a language cookie is set, and HMAC-pseudonymised hashes of your IP address and browser user-agent — derived from a key that rotates daily, so the entries can't be linked across days or to a person. This is to demonstrate compliance with Art. 7(1) GDPR if a supervisory authority asks; it isn't used for analytics or any other purpose. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR together with Art. 5(2) and Art. 7(1) GDPR — our duty to be able to show how consent was asked for and answered. We have not set a period after which these entries are deleted.

If you send us an email at contact@dynamobot.de, we process your name, email address, and the content of your message under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in responding. We keep the message for as long as we need it to handle your enquiry and for any subsequent business relationship; afterwards it is deleted according to our internal retention schedule.

When you submit the contact form on this site we store the following in our database: the name and email address you supplied, your phone number if you gave one, the message text, the language version of the site you were using, your IP address, your browser user-agent string, and the coarse location (country, region, city) our hosting provider derives from your IP address. Your email address is also written into an internal audit log, together with a reference to the stored message and the language version. Storage happens under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in (a) replying to your enquiry, (b) detecting and blocking abuse of the form, and (c) keeping a basic audit trail of who reached out and when.

We retain submissions for as long as we need them to handle your enquiry and any subsequent business relationship. We will delete or anonymise the row earlier on request, together with the copy of your email address in the audit log — email contact@dynamobot.de from the address you used to submit the form, and we will action it within 30 days.

Apart from the email provider that delivers the messages about your enquiry for us on our instructions, we do not pass your submission to any third party — with one possible exception: when a member of our team opens an older enquiry for which no location was stored, our system may send the stored IP address to an IP-geolocation service (ipapi.co) in order to show an approximate location. We do not use your submission to send marketing emails.

What you type into the form — your name, email address, phone number and message — is never sent to any analytics system. Apart from the general page statistics described under “Cookies and analytics”, analytics learn the following about the form:

• Vercel Web Analytics (without cookies, whatever you answered on the banner): that an enquiry was stored, through which form, and of which kind — that is, which kind of button on the site led you to the form (demo, use case, partnership, event, a product name or general).
• Google Analytics (only if you have accepted it): that you started the form, that you submitted it, that it failed (with a reason code such as “validation”) or that your enquiry was stored, and which button on the site led you to the form.

WeSee ROI calculator. The first step — the saving estimate — is shown without an email address and stores nothing in our database; your progress is kept in your own browser (see “Cookies and analytics”), and what analytics learn about it is listed further down. The second step — the payback estimate — asks for an email address. When you submit it, we store a row in our database containing: the email address you entered; your phone number if you gave one; the figures you typed in (your annual chemical spend, boom width and nozzle spacing); the results we calculated for you; the market the calculator used and how it was determined; the language version of the site you were using; your IP address; your browser user-agent string; and the coarse location (country, region, city) our hosting provider derives from your IP address. If you then send the optional quotation request, we store with it: your first and last name, your email address and, if you gave one, your phone number; the make, model and age of your sprayer; the type of nozzle control; your crops and weeds; the country and town as you typed them; the language version; the market; and the country our hosting provider derives from your IP address — but not your IP address or your user-agent string.

WeWeed service calculator. It keeps your results hidden until you enter an email address. When you do, we store a row in our database containing: the email address you entered; each crop you selected or added yourself (with the name you typed for it), its area, the way you state your current weeding cost (annual total, per hectare, or per treatment with the number of treatments per year) and that cost; the results we calculated for you; the language version of the site you were using; your IP address; your browser user-agent string; and the coarse location (country, region, city) our hosting provider derives from your IP address. A row is written on every calculation and every recalculation — not only the first one, and not only if you go on to submit the enquiry form underneath. That enquiry form additionally stores your name, farm name, town, province and country as you typed them, and the next step you chose (personal quote, cost approximation or field demonstration). It also carries an optional free-text box: if you write something in it, we store that text alongside the rest of your enquiry and our team reads it; if you leave it empty, nothing is stored for it.

Every time one of these forms is submitted, the email address is also written into an internal audit log, together with a reference to the stored entry, the language version and — depending on the form — the rounded annual saving, the next step you chose and whether you added a crop of your own, or the make of your sprayer and the type of nozzle control.

Storage happens under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interests in (a) sending you the confirmation of your request or, for WeWeed, a copy of the results you were shown, (b) contacting you afterwards about the product, because an unlocked calculation is in substance a commercial enquiry, (c) detecting and blocking automated abuse of the calculators, which is what the IP address and user-agent are used for, and (d) understanding in aggregate which figures visitors enter, so that we can price and position the products sensibly. The figures you enter describe your farm's economics, so please treat them as you would any other commercially sensitive information.

Submitting these forms triggers emails. WeWeed: unlocking your results for the first time sends two emails — one to you, containing the figures you were shown, and one to our own team, telling us that a calculation was unlocked, from which address and with which figures; submitting the enquiry form underneath sends you a confirmation and our team the details of your enquiry. WeSee: submitting the payback step sends you a confirmation that we received your request — it does not repeat your figures — and sends our team the details of your request; a quotation request is emailed to our team only. A reply to any of these internal messages goes to you. We do not verify that the address belongs to the person who typed it: there is no confirmation link, and these emails go to whatever valid address was entered. If you received an email you did not ask for, write to contact@dynamobot.de and we will delete the row and stop contacting that address.

We retain calculation rows and quotation requests for as long as we need them to follow up on the enquiry and for any subsequent business relationship; afterwards they are deleted according to our internal retention schedule, as with the contact form. We will delete the rows for an address earlier on request, together with the copies of that address in the audit log — email contact@dynamobot.de from the address that was entered, and we will action it within 30 days. Because this processing rests on legitimate interest you may object to it under Art. 21(1) GDPR, and you may object to the sales follow-up specifically at any time and without giving reasons under Art. 21(2) GDPR; we will then stop contacting you.

Apart from the email provider that delivers these messages for us on our instructions, and apart from what analytics receive (listed below), we do not pass the data stored from the calculators to any third party and we do not sell it — with one possible exception: when a member of our team opens an older entry for which no location was stored, our system may send the stored IP address to an IP-geolocation service (ipapi.co) in order to show an approximate location.

The figures you type into a calculator, your name, your email address, your phone number and anything you write in the free-text box are never sent to any analytics system. Values derived from your figures are sent: as ranges and, for WeWeed, as a rounded result. Apart from the general page statistics described under “Cookies and analytics”, analytics learn the following about the calculators:

• Vercel Web Analytics (without cookies, whatever you answered on the banner): for either calculator, that an enquiry was stored and through which form. For the WeSee calculator in addition: which step was shown; the range (band) your annual spend and the range your payback period fall into — a range, never the figure itself; a reason code when a step could not be completed or a request could not be recorded; how you chose to ask for a quotation (form, email or call); and the type of nozzle control you selected in the quotation form.
• Google Analytics (only if you have accepted it): which steps you reached, and that an enquiry was stored and through which form; the market the calculator used and how it was determined; reason codes when a step could not be completed or a request could not be recorded; for WeSee, the range (band) your annual spend and the range your payback period fall into, how you chose to ask for a quotation (form, email or call) and the type of nozzle control you selected in the quotation form; for WeWeed, the annual saving the calculator computed for you, rounded to a whole number, and that the results were unlocked.

The WeWeed saving is a result calculated from your figures. If you do not want it to reach Google, do not accept Google Analytics — or withdraw your consent under “Cookie settings” before you calculate.

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict the processing of, port, and object to the processing of your personal data. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The competent authority for DynamoBot GmbH is:

Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): wherever this policy names our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) as the legal basis, you may object to that processing at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation. If you object to being contacted for sales purposes, we stop without asking for reasons. Write to contact@dynamobot.de. For the statistics without cookies, the objection is made with the button under “Cookies and analytics” or through your browser, as described there.

Withdrawing consent (Art. 7(3) GDPR): you can withdraw the consent you gave on the cookie banner at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer. That does not affect the lawfulness of what was processed before you withdrew.

If media uploads are enabled in the future, we recommend avoiding images with embedded location data (e.g. EXIF GPS) to protect your privacy. This is a precaution — we do not store or process uploaded media.

This site is hosted by Vercel Inc., a company in the United States. Vercel's servers deliver the pages, images and videos of this site and receive your IP address to do so. From your IP address the hosting platform derives an approximate location (country, region, city), which we use as described in this policy — among other things for the country in our own page statistics, the location stored with a form or calculator submission, and the sales region (“market”) the WeSee calculator assigns to a request. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in operating the site. Because Vercel Inc. is in the United States, your data may be processed there — that transfer is covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (Vercel's certification).

The public pages of this site load no content from other websites: there are no embedded videos, maps or third-party scripts, and blog posts currently contain no embeds either. The one exception is Google Tag Manager with Google Analytics, and only after you have accepted it (see “Cookies and analytics”). Images and videos are served from the storage of our hosting provider (Vercel Blob), and fonts by this site itself. The social-media icons are plain links, not embedded buttons: nothing is sent to those networks unless you click one.

The footer shows our PeachScore investor rating (score, grade and date) as a card that comes from this site itself, not from PeachScore. The card links to our profile on peachscore.com; nothing is requested from PeachScore unless you click that link and leave this site.
